For this being the authors first book it is pretty good and the story being told is intriguing. I just felt parts stopped to abruptly and moved to something else leaving gaps in the story and unanswered questions. The ending was reasonable – it did do an eleven year jump and only included four sentences about the ending of 2007 and then goes to the last short chapter and leaves you wanting the next book.
